This is the only wine from a single wine estate in Italy to have its own DOC.

Deep, dark ruby-red color but not opaque. The restrained, brooding nose has meaty touches, then reveals juicy raspberry & boysenberry aromas. The palate has dense, yet elegant, fine tannin. Fine cedary oak & vanilla are well-integrated with lively red-fruit. The wine has excellent acidity & rich red-fruit that balances the alcohol. There are raisin, sweet-licorice & chocolate notes on the back-palate

Critic tasting note: (2017 vintage) "Ricco di grazia mostra note floreali ed erbe mediterranee che descrivono l'anima principale. Le veraci sfumature di fragoline di bosco, maggiorana, timo e buccia di limone descrivono l'anima principale. Corpo medio-pieno, tannini rigidi che avranno bisogno di tempo per distendersi ed un finale asciutto e teso. Ottima espressione nella difficile annata che sarà interessante vedere in evoluzione nel tempo. Meglio dal 2023." - 95/100,
